In the 15th minute, NECKER49's Siro Tauro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Siro Tauro struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NECKER49. The NECKER49 fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when NECKER49's Siro Tauro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when NECKER49's Siro Tauro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Cayetano Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 35th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Axel Tasis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cayetano Paz. The goal made the score 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Felix Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Felix Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. NECKER49's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Alan Moruga heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Dionisio Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NECKER49 fully deserved thier win.
