Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Felix Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Cayetano Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Tauro in the 16th minute. Cayetano Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes NECKER49 got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Abascal. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Felix Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Santos in the 32nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Felix Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Siro Tauro sent off a good shot on target. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Cayetano Paz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. A collision led to NECKER49 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Aquilino Abascal hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, NECKER49's Siro Tauro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cayetano Paz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cayetano Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Mannuel in the 70th minute of play. Felix Santos succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. After 74 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. When NECKER49's Felix Santos in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hipolito Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Felix Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NECKER49's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Mannuel came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NECKER49's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
