Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bon Scott scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the game, FC Cavia Pyskowice's Bon Scott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 41st minute, Bon Scott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. If Bon Scott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Bon Scott sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert.

The wind increased when Bon Scott made the kick off in the second half. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Buğrahan Altınpınar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Camilo Gisbert, made in the 51st minute of the game. Miroslaw Miazga replaced Bon Scott. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslaw Miazga in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia could save by the left post. Miroslaw Miazga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Miroslaw Miazga notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miroslaw Miazga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Ciborek came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Cavia Pyskowice could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
