Jan Persson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Büyükçekmece FC. booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Curbelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Jan Persson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Joshua Curbelo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Persson in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Persson's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Jan Persson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Jan Persson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Büyükçekmece FC. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 41 minutes of play, Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 played minutes Jan Persson rounded El Salvador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 9-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Persson was the one to do the kick off. Jan Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Büyükçekmece FC. fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 67th minute, Jan Persson made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Cemalettin Sehriyar was substituted for Alvar Vester. Büyükçekmece FC. made a substitution. Rareș Miron replaced Baba Babayaro. 77 minutes into the match, Jan Persson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Persson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Sergio Hug couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for El Salvador. 83 minutes into the game, Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson. But to his dismay, Jan Persson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 17-0. Büyükçekmece FC. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
