Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Kiener was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Cheb Saïd-Guerni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Troy Kennedy during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Troy Kennedy. 8 minutes into the match, Juan Ibar notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernabe Cambiasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Curacao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Cheb Saïd-Guerni scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Barrett, making the score, 3-0. Cheb Saïd-Guerni scored 4-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stanley Wallace's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 武青霖 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 5-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Juan Ibar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Cheb Saïd-Guerni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elite Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cheb Saïd-Guerni in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Juan Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Cambiasso in the 38th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Ibar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Barrett. That made the score 7-0 in the 40 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Ibar to make the kick off. Cheb Saïd-Guerni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Cheb Saïd-Guerni came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Ibar's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Nader Ghali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Diego Cabrera took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cheb Saïd-Guerni's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Nader Ghali left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elite Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ibar in the 69th minute of play. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Nader Ghali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Elite Team's Cheb Saïd-Guerni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Saïd-Guerni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Saïd-Guerni, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Bernabe Cambiasso took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Saïd-Guerni in the 87th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cheb Saïd-Guerni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Saïd-Guerni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Elite Team fully deserved thier win.
