Norman Ackermann scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Francisco Carballar put in a rough tackle. In the 14th minute, one of Chile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chile. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for SC Otten. Nils Neufeld stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thiago Pliego. 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, SC Otten's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Cícero Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, SC Otten's Norman Ackermann made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, SC Otten's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Norman Ackermann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. SC Otten were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bircan Onay took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Bircan Onay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of SC Otten booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Ackermann in the 42nd minute of the match. Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Lacasa to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Casaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Guillermo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Norman Ackermann came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the SC Otten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norman Ackermann couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Neufeld in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Cícero Proença made a huge save. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Ackermann in the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, SC Otten's Cícero Proença got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Măliță in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Norman Ackermann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Otten's Lucas Bergvall was substituted for Petruț Măliță. Thanks to some nice moves Orlando Casaus could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Cícero Proença however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in SC Otten's zone, Orlando Casaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cícero Proença came out of the goal and Orlando Casaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Fontirroig fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 90th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bircan Onay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Otten booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Halleck scored 7-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Otten.
