Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Cormoranii -MM- defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Zoff. The Cormoranii -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Zoff should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Zoff came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 17thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Ramiro Paul scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-2. Ramiro Pauls short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Paul's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Zoff having to interfere. Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of the match. Ramiro Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Zoff having to interfere. Lucrețiu Sântimbrean did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 44 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Zoff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Cormoranii -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dino Zoff in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramiro Paul to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s Ramiro Paul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Paul's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Sântimbrean in the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Paul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Paul in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 68th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. In the 70th minute Lucrețiu Sântimbrean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Cormoranii -MM- from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Paul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cormoranii -MM-'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Zoff came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Paul in the 83rd minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Boldur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcel Vulpe was slow to take the kick. During this time Cormoranii -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Cormoranii -MM-'s Marcel Vulpe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Isac Covataru got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cormoranii -MM- had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
