Sebastian Kazczyk started the match with the kick off. 13 minutes into the match, Rova Rosiori's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Kazczyk came free, but Paul Dumitru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the game Ştefan Aelenei made a throw-in which Florin Simion played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Kazczyk got free with Paul Dumitru in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rova Rosiori's Constantin Stegaru pulled a muscle in his back after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Roland Redondo's late challenge caught a Rova Rosiori's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Redondo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Real Juniors getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Roland Redondo hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Grigore Jula was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rova Rosiori's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Juniors the free kick. Grigore Jula hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Real Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roland Redondo in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Kazczyk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paul Dumitru. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Paul Dumitru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Kazczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Real Juniors booed when Rova Rosiori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Aelenei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rova Rosiori's Paul Dumitru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Rova Rosiori from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Real Juniors's Sebastian Kazczyk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grigore Jula to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Real Juniors booed when Rova Rosiori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Aelenei didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Rova Rosiori's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Efe Suheyl came free, but Paul Dumitru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Ahmet Efe Suheyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Dumitru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Rova Rosiori got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Aelenei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 69th minute of play forced Rova Rosiori's goalkeeper Paul Dumitru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Santiago Endura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rova Rosiori's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Endura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alisson Becker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Real Juniors's zone, Grigore Jula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alisson Becker came out of the goal and Grigore Jula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes of play, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Dumitru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paul Dumitru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Dumitru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 93rd minute of play.
