The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heli Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Pampas Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heli Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Finlay Stair got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tabor Ibanez made a kick off. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hitz Garzon in the 51st minute of the match. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tabor Ibanez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Pampas Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
