Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Crayon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute Edvard Bure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stickleback Utd Xl's Felix Crayon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Clapham in the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Stickleback Utd Xl's Felix Crayon got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Stickleback Utd Xl defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Crayon. The Stickleback Utd Xl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Crayon should have stopped the shot. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Felix Crayon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Crayon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Crayon having to interfere. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stickleback Utd Xl throughout the match.
