With an all-out effort, A4p FC Gad's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from King Scorpio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Scorpio in the 16th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by James Batistuta. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Scorpio in the 20th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, King Scorpio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 31st minute of the match A4p FC Gad got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcin Pachucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. 邱振广's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 邱振广 helped the player get up and apologised. Orlando Casaus succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's Olle Olsson got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 53rd minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 54th minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. In the 79th minute King Scorpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
