In the 44th minute Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern were awarded a corner. Seyfi Çırakoğlu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern's corner Seyfi Çırakoğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucian Mărculescu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rafael Flamme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Flamme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Flamme made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. When Tomas Illescas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rafael Flamme was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Flamme came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Lucian Mărculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rafael Flamme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Flamme was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Patricio Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patricio Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
