Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francisco Ibañez might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Ibañez ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Firmin Négrel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Ibañez in the 10th minute. If Cayetano Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, Cayetano Ponc notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Ibañezs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 17th minute, Cayetano Ponc fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benito Sanz, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanek Walczyk in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as ANAHA FC's Francisco Ibañez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-1 after 24 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute, ANAHA FC's Francisco Ibañez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Francisco Ibañez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 5-1. Firmin Négrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Walczyk in the 44th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Walczyk in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Ibañez was the one to do the kick off. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Walczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, ANAHA FC's Hassan Theron got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Tanek Walczyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Cayetano Ponc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ANAHA FC's Dudu Georgescu was substituted for Francisco Ibañez. In the 68th minute, Éluard Plantade sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Costa Rica's Benito Sanz didn't even have to move. 70 minutes into the game, ANAHA FC's Tanek Walczyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. In the 76th minute, Cayetano Ponc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Georgescu in the 78th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Ponc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Georgescu came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Tanek Walczyk made it 9-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute Dudu Georgescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tanek Walczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Firmin Négrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that ANAHA FC were the better team. ANAHA FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
