Charmander City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Golo Dolar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Golo Dolar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Golo Dolar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Jairo Gaufred with Ger Branca as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Peto in the 12th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ger Branca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Charmander City's goalkeeper Tobias Reuters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Peto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Charmander City's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Tobias Reuters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Golo Dolar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Reuters was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmiro Peto made a kick off. Tobias Reuters was a little too slow when Julian Murillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-2. Tobias Reuters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Charmander City's Tobias Reuters got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Peru's Moises Gayoso to fire away a dangerous shot which Tobias Reuters despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Charmander City made a substitution. Gaspar Odol replaced Golo Dolar. Charmander City's Benigno Qwinton was substituted for Ger Branca. Charmander City's Cristobal Jurgi was substituted for Delmiro Peto. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miguel Tadzio in the 70 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Peru's Emmanuel Reyes got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ronny Cromefeldt was slow to take the kick. During this time Charmander City's players had a chance to rest. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Odol in the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Charmander City's Prospero Velasco got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Peru booed when Charmander City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Charmander City's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Reuters came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rafael Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Charmander City throughout the match.
