Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacob Albuquerque started the match with the kick off. A collision led to The Cavern Club getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jacob Albuquerque hit a great ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 8 played minutes The Cavern Club got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Piarres. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Albuquerque in the 10th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Prestes having to interfere. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Yoel Liñan sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute, Jacob Albuquerque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gerardo Pozo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Pozo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped Sergio Herena:s penalty. After 41 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergio Herena who took care of the corner kick. The corner led The Cavern Club's Yoel Liñan to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Vladimir Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Yoel Liñan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cavern Club's Geovani Mendonça was substituted for Jacob Albuquerque. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Vladimir Prestes in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vladimir Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yoel Liñan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The Cavern Club's attentive Ramon Piarres managed to snatch the ball when Jose Manzanedo made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Mendonça in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 65th minute of play. Gonzalo Vergaray struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Cavern Club. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Mendonça in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's Geovani Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Orlando Casaus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Prestes was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Geovani Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimir Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 98th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
