Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kerkûk FC's Isaac Kilberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner led Costa Rica's Axel Tasis to fire away a dangerous shot which Orvar Vassenius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes, Kerkûk FC's Thomas Lundberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kerkûk FC reached it. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Kerkûk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Matthias Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Thomas Lundberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Lundberg in the 33rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Adam Bareiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kerkûk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Bareiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kerkûk FC's Thomas Lundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Kilberg went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Fikus in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Adam Bareiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 60 minutes of play, Kerkûk FC's Isaac Kilberg made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64thth minute of the game Isaac Kilberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Kerkûk FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Isaac Kilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Isaac Kilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kerkûk FC the free kick. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Kilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Kilberg in the 79th minute of the match. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Kerkûk FC's Walery Fikus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Kilberg in the 85th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Henning Björk notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kerkûk FC had played much better football throughout.
