Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Davut Konuralp in the 3rd minute of play. In the 11th minute Ertan Akağan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Nebi Yalazabey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Ertan Akağan came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ertan Akağan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Übi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68Aksarayspor's Ertan Akağan got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ertan Akağan to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, 68Aksarayspor's Nebi Yalazabey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 55 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. If Ahmet Tolga Demirer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nebi Yalazabey in the 71st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertan Akağan in the 74th minute of the match. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the game, Jose Carita threw the ball into play from the sideline. 68Aksarayspor's Feliciano Poza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of 68Aksarayspor booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ünal Yasık's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Marcos Cotilla on his right side and into the goal. 82 minutes into the game it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ertan Akağan managed to get in a good position for a shot. 68Aksarayspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ertan Akağan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Davut Konuralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Carita's late challenge caught a 68Aksarayspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Carita helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Ertan Akağan made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 68Aksarayspor had won after a very even match.
