Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gottfrid Brenner in the 6th minute. Felix Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Martinsson was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Gottfrid Brenner in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Albert Rutledge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Osvald Uter came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. In the 32nd match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Rutledge to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Svante Bäckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Sancho during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LA VIOLA booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Martinsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Albert Rutledge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to LA VIOLA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sune Dahlberg hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Rutledge made a kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Brenner in the 56th minute of the match. Gottfrid Brenner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Felix Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Sune Dahlberg got a free kick in the 69th minute. LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save LA VIOLA from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA VIOLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. 82 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Martinsson, 1-1. When Gottfrid Brenner came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the LA VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottfrid Brenner couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Gottfrid Brenner sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The LA VIOLA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
