The crowd rose to their feet as Silver Squad AFC's Damazy Radzyminski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. Frans Van Caubergen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Damazy Radzyminski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Izydor Czysta made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silver Squad AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Salvador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Silver Squad AFC. Henrik Ooms stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricardo Zorita. 5-0. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Damazy Radzyminski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Carberry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waud De Geyter having to interfere. Silver Squad AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattijs Kloots was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Benjamin Carberry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogério Paiva got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Damazy Radzyminski. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Litenboks, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Mattijs Kloots's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 98th minute of the game.
