Panama were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after The Power Guido FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Carrillos in the 9th minute of play. Lenílson Toledo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Long John got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the game, Long John cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, The Power Guido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Enéas Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lenílson Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiliam Fernandes went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Long John notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wiliam Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enéas Soeiro was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Long John did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Marcos Cotilla 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Panama booed when The Power Guido FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enéas Soeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Sarmiento ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Lenílson Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Noel Oliveira's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Marcos Cotilla - 7-0 was put on the score board in the 78th minute. The The Power Guido FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 90th minute Aílton Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Lenílson Toledo notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Power Guido FC.
