Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) 7 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro. Lunatics of Arianrhod's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Joel Hibai sent off a good shot on target. Cristoforo Tammaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 17th minute of play. Joel Hibai took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Joel Gaona put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro. 33 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristoforo Tammaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Lunatics of Arianrhod's Joel Hibai. But to his dismay, Joel Hibai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Lunatics of Arianrhod's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristoforo Tammaro came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 48th minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Lunatics of Arianrhod's Francesco Romino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After 66 played minutes Joel Gaona rounded Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-4. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Cristoforo Tammaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 72 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Cristoforo Tammaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dário Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Lunatics of Arianrhod's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cristoforo Tammaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute Fedele Panza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felice Cirigliano kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Dário Pereira got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ernesto Martini. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
