SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 4th minute of play. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Silvestre Loi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvestre Loi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Jurek Ohrem came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SV Bad Harzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurek Ohrem couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Éthan Pichard hit a great ball. After 24 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacek Matuch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chile's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Silvestre Loi scored to the left of an out of position Thiago Pliego, making the score, 2-1. 31 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éthan Pichard in the 38th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jacek Matuch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. After 44 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Ksawery Rzeszutko. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Silvestre Loi tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvestre Loi to strike the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacek Matuch having to make a save. Chile's Jose Manzanedo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teodor Covaci in the 60 minute of the game. 61 minutes into the game, Xavier Figueroa threw the ball into play from the sideline. SV Bad Harzburg's Jurek Ohrem quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Silvestre Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jacek Matuch made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacek Matuch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Loi in the 81st minute of the match. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Mariano Lacasa in the 84th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Jacek Matuch kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Hermann Viapiano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SV Bad Harzburg's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacek Matuch came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
