The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Rutledge came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Felix Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Rutledge in the 21st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of LA VIOLA booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvald Uter scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Osvald Uter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA VIOLA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LA VIOLA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
