The corner led SV Balverliefd's Felix van As to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Sanz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Steven Homan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Steven Homan took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th minute, SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Felix van As struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Balverliefd. In the 31st play minute Steven Homan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 5-0. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Steven Homan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 36 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Virgil Lindelöf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Steven Homan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Homan in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steven Homan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Steven Homan might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steven Homan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute Steven Homan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yorrick Zoethout made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. When SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steven Homan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. SV Balverliefd's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
