Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Green Horses's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Periklis Zorbadelos came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 4 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Green Horses players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olof Dalström kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Periklis Zorbadelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Notis Bartzokas. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Markatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolos Mavrokordatos in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Notis Bartzokas got free with Benito Sanz in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Babbis Markatos sent off a good shot on target. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vaios Petridis got free with Benito Sanz in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Green Horses's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Babbis Markatos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 24 in the game by Babbis Markatos from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. Notis Bartzokas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Evaggelos Keratakis struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Horses. 30 minutes in the game Evaggelos Keratakis got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Notis Bartzokas came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostolos Mavrokordatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 44th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Green Horses booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Notis Bartzokas came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 47 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Green Horses's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Axel Tasis scored to the left of an out of position Periklis Zorbadelos, making the score, 7-1. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Notis Bartzokas in the 93rd minute of play. Notis Bartzokas took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. There was no doubt that Green Horses were the better team. Green Horses's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
