Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Paolo Eutor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Zacharias Siatzis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to the xeneise dream team getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Paolo Eutor hit a great ball. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Paolo Eutor scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 3-0. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by the xeneise dream team's Paolo Eutor. But to his dismay, Paolo Eutor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Habil Castolo scored 5-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Eutor, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A hard shot by Zacharias Siatzis from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Benito Sanz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Habil Castolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roque Mercurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. 36 minutes into the match, Paolo Eutor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Eutor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 38 minutes into the game, Paolo Eutor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Paolo Eutor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habil Castolo in the 42nd minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habil Castolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Nereo Roldanillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 8-0. 48 minutes into the match, Habil Castolo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Habil Castolo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Habil Castolo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habil Castolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of the xeneise dream team booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habil Castolo in the 57th minute of play. Paolo Eutor scored 10-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habil Castolo in the 63rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by the xeneise dream team's Arda Ardashov. But to his dismay, Arda Ardashov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. In the 68th minute, Zacharias Siatzis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. 73 minutes into the match, Paolo Eutor notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Habil Castolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. the xeneise dream team's supporters rose to their feet, but Habil Castolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, the xeneise dream team's Arda Ardashov got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of the xeneise dream team booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. the xeneise dream team's Aquiles Mikolas was substituted for Habil Castolo. In the 85th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Paolo Eutor managed to get in a good position for a shot. the xeneise dream team's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Eutor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Eutor in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Zacharias Siatzis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Eutor came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Aquiles Mikolas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot.
