Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Szczucin's Emanuel Barbu. But to his dismay, Emanuel Barbu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Barbu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. When Efrain Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Efrain Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Szczucin booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Sayveon kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Iwan Swoboda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. In the 25th minute, Emanuel Barbu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 played minutes FC Szczucin got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Sayveon. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Emanuel Barbu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Emanuel Barbu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Barbu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 41 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Barbu went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Emanuel Barbu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Emanuel Barbu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Barbu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Szczucin booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes of play, FC Szczucin's Emanuel Barbu made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Emanuel Barbu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Barbu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Barbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Ferrant charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Ferrant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 69 minutes into the match, FC Szczucin's Emanuel Barbu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Barbu in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Barbu in the 78th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Barbu scored 7-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Barbu might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Barbu ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Barbu in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iwo Kilar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Eliseo Noboa made a precise shot to the right of Iwan Swoboda. FC Szczucin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Iwo Kilar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 97th minute, Bernard Dembowski made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1.
