After having played for 40 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ankaios Garofalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After 73 played minutes K.F.MALIQI got a freekick which was hit by Nertil Ktona. A hard shot 92 in the game by Luis Andino from a close distance when the talented Dmitriy Chkalov managed to make a qualified save. K.F.MALIQI's players were relieved. Dmitriy Chkalov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
