Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mao Zhen Hong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Mao Zhen Hong. Academia Monte Gordo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Mao Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes Academia Monte Gordo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mao Zhen Hong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong did a great save. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia Monte Gordo's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabrício Lustosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-2 in the 33 minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Lustosa got free with Julio Vera in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Academia Monte Gordo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Fryderyk Grucza replaced Fabrício Lustosa. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fryderyk Grucza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Fryderyk Grucza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The throw-in from Camilo Gisbert in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Academia Monte Gordo's Pascual Mouricio. Fryderyk Grucza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Fryderyk Grucza notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camilo Gisbert made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristian Sancho. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Fryderyk Grucza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Monte Gordo's supporters rose to their feet, but Fryderyk Grucza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Monte Gordo from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Academia Monte Gordo.
