Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gil Talavera started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jarl Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. Herbert Tamminga kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Sebastián Puig during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 11 in the game by Emilian Bâlea from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apoena Herrero in the 21st minute of play. Jarl Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, FC Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Jarl Bredberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emilian Bâlea came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Blåvitt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilian Bâlea couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Folke Smitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Bredberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Apoena Herrero notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Talavera in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 minutes, Gil Talavera made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apoena Herrero in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Gil Talavera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Gil Talavera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute Apoena Herrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apoena Herrero took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 87th minute, Herbert Tamminga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 minutes, Gil Talavera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Blåvitt and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gil Talavera kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jarl Bredberg made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Blåvitt were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
