Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raymond Louis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 11th minute, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Venceslao Mayllar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Noel Seide. Noel Seide yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Alphonse in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inguma Madama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Haiti! The referee gave Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brais Montiel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. 2-1. The supporters of Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Inguma Madama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernso Constant in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Inguma Madama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Inguma Madama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 27th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Celipe Segurola in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Felix Dorval. Jonathan Alphonse took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inguma Madama. Inguma Madama dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Inguma Madama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Brais Montiel hit a great ball. Inguma Madama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gesner Philippe in the 42nd minute of play. Inguma Madama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Raymond Louis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inguma Madama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Venceslao Mayllar made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philippe Ambroise during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Leonardo Baelo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raymond Louis in the 57 minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Veremundo Ascarretazabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inguma Madama acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jonathan Alphonse. In the 60th match minute, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veremundo Ascarretazabal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 63rd minute of play forced Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Inguma Madama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goal looked a bit too open when Philippe Ambroise came free, but Inguma Madama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonathan Alphonse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Inguma Madama. That made the score 2-3 in the 66 minute of play. Leonardo Baelo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Celipe Segurola with Araoz Troncoso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 81 minutes into the game, Philippe Ambroise recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Inguma Madama. Philippe Ambroise showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Ernso Constant struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Inguma Madama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. 87 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goal looked a bit too open when Ernso Constant came free, but Inguma Madama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan defense, Jonathan Alphonse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inguma Madama. The Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inguma Madama should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inguma Madama came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Alphonse slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 95th minute.
