The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stefanos Stefanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. Norbert Major could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sebastião Xoxe made a huge save. In the 60th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Sebastião Xoxe in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Norbert Major made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Abram Secada came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Secada couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major. But to his dismay, Norbert Major quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 82 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 83 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Conrado Donzel who took care of the corner kick. Abram Secadas short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Sebastião Xoxe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Pogoń Szczecin booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major. But to his dismay, Norbert Major quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. 5-3 became the score in the 93rd minute when Abram Secada elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pogoń Szczecin fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
