Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Peru's Luz Tejedor got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 6th minute of play. Sebastião Xoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Conrado Donzel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pogoń Szczecin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pogoń Szczecin! Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Norbert Major sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Jurand Debowski in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastião Xoxe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezary Jarocewicz during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cezary Jarocewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Norbert Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Pogoń Szczecin's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Norbert Major, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norbert Major stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cezary Jarocewicz in the 55 minute of the game. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Major, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Luz Tejedor sped through Pogoń Szczecin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sebastião Xoxe. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Major in the 64th minute of the match. Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Szczecin from getting a goal against them. Peru were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Pogoń Szczecin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe did a great save. With his leg Sebastião Xoxe managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cezary Jarocewicz in the 79 minute of the game. Anselmo Doris hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. A collision led to Pogoń Szczecin getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Anselmo Doris hit a great ball. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Sebastião Xoxe made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Antonio Tenorio sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Darko Pančev came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Alcocer made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rafael Gallo. The supporters of Pogoń Szczecin booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Stefanos Stefanopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogoń Szczecin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefanos Stefanopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
