Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Acevedo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Juan Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sajones F.C. booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Camilo Acevedo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Sajones F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Acevedo couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Acevedos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Julio Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Sajones F.C.'s Mateo Libertad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Julio Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Silvio Orkatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sajones F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Orkatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sajones F.C. the free kick. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Sajones F.C.'s Camilo Acevedo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Libertad, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Lautaro Puig was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 54 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Acevedo in the 56th minute of the match. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Benjamin Berdoi fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sajones F.C.'s protests and gave Benjamin Berdoi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Benjamin Berdoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Quinten came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Acevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Mateo Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sajones F.C.'s Nunez Quinteros was substituted for Camilo Acevedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Quinteros in the 79th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Emanuel Xabier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Xabier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Sajones F.C.'s Julio Quinten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Sajones F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Nunez Quinteros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nunez Quinteros's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Julio Quinten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Alcocer's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Sajones F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
