SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Florencio Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Signoretti, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Linqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Florencio Cutberto made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Linqvist scored 3-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
