Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Filip Soetemans got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ye Xiang Zheng in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvard Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Soetemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Filip Soetemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Henrik Henriksson sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Filip Soetemans tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Filip Soetemans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Filip Soetemans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Henriksson in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hu Jian Zhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Filip Soetemans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 48 played minutes Fenerbahce ISTANBUL got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Lauaxeta.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Sigvard Åkesson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Filip Soetemans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Henriksson's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The audience was convinced that Henrik Henriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. The Fenerbahce ISTANBUL fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Filip Soetemans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th match minute, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Soetemans to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ye Xiang Zheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Stasio Drzewucki got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Soetemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Henriksson in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute Henrik Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 95 minutes, Henrik Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ye Xiang Zheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fenerbahce ISTANBUL.
