Luz Tejedor ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Talha Mertkal saved Kolonia Radlin from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Bergkamp in the 66th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talha Mertkal had great luck who in the 91stth minute grab hold of the ball when Rafael Gallo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Başaran Şentürk made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kazimierz Iwanowski immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Mina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Talha Mertkal. That made the score 1-1 in the 95 minute of play.
