The corner went over the outstretched arms of Soroca F.C.'s goalie and right to Carter George. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Soroca F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hernan Lano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jax Williamson made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rohan Watson came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rohan Watson in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Cássio Zonta got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Koby Wright came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koby Wright couldn't finish the play. The Soroca F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canada were winning 0-1.

Theo Burton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Wennerqvist having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 84th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Gustavo Tartalo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jax Williamson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Burton in the 88th minute of play. Răzvan Necula took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Soroca F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Canada had controlled the match.
