Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kraig Fred got the match started through his kick off. Kraig Fred succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kraig Fred in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo. Marcos Ranolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Miodek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kraig Fred got free with Julio Vera in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Kraig Fred took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! 47 minutes into the game, Maximo Dei recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Maximo Dei showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Estudiantes de América's Joel Cordarrel was substituted for Flavio Iraunkor. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Concetto Trasatti replaced Kraig Fred. Estudiantes de América's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximo Dei in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Concetto Trasatti hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Cordarrel in the 68th minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estudiantes de América's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Ranolfo could save by the left post. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Concetto Trasatti's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. When Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal.
