Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wincent Milko started the match with the kick off. Anders Ström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Jonathan Soon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Wincent Milko came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the game, Watford FC's Jonathan Soon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Jonathan Soon notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Ludvig Åkerman got in the 33rd minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Benito Sanz. This was a shot which ended in a score of 5-0. Jonathan Soon took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Jonathan Bergdal took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 46th minute, Jonathan Soon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watford FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Soon went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wincent Milko during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Stålman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 minutes of play, Watford FC's Jonathan Soon made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Stålman having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 10-1. A collision led to Watford FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kennet Modig hit a great ball. After 81 minutes, Kennet Modig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Watford FC and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Watford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kennet Modig didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Jonathan Soon might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Soon ran back to his position shaking his head. Adam Wallmark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Milko, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
