Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. Uruguay:s Joaquin Gayoso showed great skill when he stopped Kevin Keegan:s penalty. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 12th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 15 minutes Skövde AIK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Uruguay's corner Jaime Cazalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronnie Hellström quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 17th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skövde AIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. In the 19th minute, Knut Rudberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chen Ao Fan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chen Ao Fan in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Skövde AIK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chen Ao Fan in the 25th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Filip Brolin got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 25 minutes into the match. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Chen Ao Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Chen Ao Fan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Knut Rudberg got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 36th minute of play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Ronnie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chen Ao Fan was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla in the 53rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ronnie Hellström was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Skövde AIK through an amazing save. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 55th minute of play. Kurt Hamrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ronnie Hellström could save by the left post. Chen Ao Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Skövde AIK's Jerry Williams was substituted for Kurt Hamrin. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Jerry Williams stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Jerry Williams tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the game, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Chen Ao Fan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Uruguay's Francisco Seco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronnie Hellström. That made the score 3-1 after 76 minutes of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 78th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chen Ao Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skövde AIK's attentive Georg Norström managed to snatch the ball when Jaime Cazalla made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. Chen Ao Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Håkan Kruse hit a great ball. Ronnie Hellström was a little too slow when Francisco Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 88th minute, Filip Brolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronnie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Williams in the 92nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
