In the 13thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fundação Marques dos Reis's Yao Bin Yun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Duarte Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Taras Romanchuk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Taras Romanchuk really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 25th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Bin Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The supporters of Fundação Marques dos Reis booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Duarte Carvalho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Duarte Carvalho really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taras Romanchuk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Yao Bin Yun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Fundação Marques dos Reis from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Taras Romanchuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taras Romanchuk in the 87th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Gisbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Daniel Resende was substituted for Filipe Viveiros. Uruguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Fundação Marques dos Reis had won, even though Uruguay had held more of the ball.
