Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dudu Meira made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Benjamim Dante. Estrela Solitária's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th minute, Estrela Solitária's Sandrinho Hoffmann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Sandrinho Hoffmann took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Benjamim Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dudu Meira took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Benjamim Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Franco in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Estrela Solitária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Sandrinho Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The throw-in from Gil Travassos in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Estrela Solitária from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's Gerd Müller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Gerd Müller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerd Müller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The long shot by Camilo Franco in the 67th minute really tested Benjamim Dante's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 70th minute Gerd Müller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerd Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chicão Amorim was slow to take the kick. During this time Estrela Solitária's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Estrela Solitária's Chicão Amorim to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Solitária's Gerd Müller. But to his dismay, Gerd Müller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Chicão Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Solitária's supporters rose to their feet, but Chicão Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gil Travassos made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gerd Müller. 92 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerd Müller in the 93rd minute of play. Benjamim Dante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Willian Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Benjamim Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Estrela Solitária's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
