In the 9th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 minutes of play, C.A.JORGOVAN's Gonzalo Hoya made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced C.A.JORGOVAN's goalkeeper Artemio Domenech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gervasio Bermund could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. In the 23rd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Artemio Domenech. C.A.JORGOVAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, C.A.JORGOVAN's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gonzalo Hoya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Isidoro Honesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Isidoro Honesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after C.A.JORGOVAN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. C.A.JORGOVAN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 庄永适 in the 44th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

61 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.JORGOVAN the free kick. 60 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gonzalo Hoya shot the penalty kick right outside the post. C.A.JORGOVAN's Artemio Domenech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.JORGOVAN from getting a goal against them. Artemio Domenech made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Bermund came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Artemio Domenech could save by the left post. C.A.JORGOVAN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Artemio Domenech, making the score, 1-3. C.A.JORGOVAN made a substitution. In the 90th match minute, C.A.JORGOVAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Mikeldi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 93 minutes, Eulalio Galindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.JORGOVAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Galindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Galindo struck a weak shot in the 101st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.JORGOVAN. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
