Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Castagneto Po AFC's Filippo Pinti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Castagneto Po AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Venditti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Castagneto Po AFC's Modesto Berzosa got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Eraldo Sorrentino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Eraldo Sorrentino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Pinti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Cimino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dennis Cimino came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Castagneto Po AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Berzosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Castagneto Po AFC's Filippo Pinti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Pinti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Pinti in the 60th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Uruguay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dennis Cimino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 63rd minute. Andrea Pinti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Pinti in the 67th minute of play. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Dennis Cimino made a huge save. Castagneto Po AFC's Federico Ciccone was substituted for Andrea Pinti. In the 72nd minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dennis Cimino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 74 minutes into the match, Federico Ciccone notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 79th minute of play forced Castagneto Po AFC's goalkeeper Dennis Cimino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Dennis Cimino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. In the 88th minute, Filippo Pinti made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 91st minute, Federico Ciccone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castagneto Po AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jorge Sainz hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Castagneto Po AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
