Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Quiroga went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 9th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Sanz to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Quiroga came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Claudio Quiroga put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. 16 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Claudio Quiroga took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Johnny Nyström hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Quiroga came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Claudio Quiroga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 6-0. In the 35th minute, Claudio Quiroga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Claudio Quiroga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monitor Huáscar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Claudio Quiroga struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monitor Huáscar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

In the 62ndth minute of the game Claudio Quiroga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. 68 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudio Quiroga scored 10-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Claudio Quiroga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monitor Huáscar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Claudio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Bernardinho Bala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Claudio Quiroga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Monitor Huáscar had played much better football throughout.
