In the 31st of the match, Tom Fagrell tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Benito Sanz got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 33rd minute of play forced Fusk&Bygg AB's goalkeeper Rolf Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolf Pettersson saved Fusk&Bygg AB from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Fusk&Bygg AB's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Pettersson came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolf Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fusk&Bygg AB's goalkeeper Rolf Pettersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fusk&Bygg AB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Eliseo Noboa scored to the left of an out of position Rolf Pettersson, making the score, 1-2. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rolf Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolf Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Albin Hammarberg hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Fusk&Bygg AB's goalkeeper Rolf Pettersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Lautaro Puig took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolf Pettersson. Rolf Pettersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 74th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fusk&Bygg AB's Björn Sjögren got a free kick in the 79th minute. Axel Tasis charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Tasis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Although Fusk&Bygg AB had been in control for most of the match, Costa Rica still came away with the win.
