Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Allan Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute, Pascual Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Allan Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Allan Pettersson sent off a good shot on target. Pascual Carballar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristian Modig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Pettersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Allan Pettersson scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eric Wallin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorio Gabrio to make the kick off. In the 87th match minute, FC Wingspan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Caires to maneuver through the defense. The Colombia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colombia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
