Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Edgardo Silva made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 7th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Peru's Efraim Gilabert got a free kick in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lalo Rosas got free with Rolando Noboa in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the New England Minas defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. The New England Minas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremy Nicholas should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute New England Minas were awarded a corner. Lalo Rosas went to the cornerflag to take it. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremy Nicholas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 33rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Joaquin Prats hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Silva was the one to do the kick off. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 51st minute of play. 51 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Pacheco came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Glen Conklin. New England Minas's Emmitt Benson was substituted for Alperen Öksüz. New England Minas made a substitution. Xiao Bang Kun replaced Jörgen Frohm. Ye Gang Cheng made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. 63 minutes into the game, Ye Gang Cheng threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 64 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. New England Minas made a substitution. Tio Lio replaced Edgardo Silva. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Conny Tingberg got a free kick in the 67th minute. Joaquin Prats was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Tony Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ye Gang Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Conny Tingberg hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Tony Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. The throw-in from Ye Gang Cheng in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tio Lio, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
