After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Luis Rubio got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 10 played minutes TAJFUN Giszowiec got a freekick which was hit by Filip Figlewski. After having played for 13 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Cielencki in the 18th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 25th minute of play forced TAJFUN Giszowiec's goalkeeper Sebastian Lato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute Marcin Mocko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. After a rather tough play, TAJFUN Giszowiec's Wladyslaw Gejda got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Lato having to interfere. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Waldemar Nakoneczny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wawrzyniec Dziewedik hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcin Mocko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sebastian Lato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Cielencki in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, TAJFUN Giszowiec's Waldemar Nakoneczny made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Waldemar Nakoneczny left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAJFUN Giszowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. TAJFUN Giszowiec's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
